Testing.

The club has established a group of its members to hold testing sessions prior to our meetings.  Anyone desiring to become a Volunteer Examiner will be welcome to join our group.  See Jeff Stahl, K4BH for help in becoming a certified VE.

Anyone applying for a license or upgrade to your present license, will need to bring the original and a photocopy of his or her license and CSCEs, if any, a photo ID (drivers license, etc.), a ball point pen, a pencil with an eraser, and $15.00 cash.  Exact change would be preferred.  It is recommended that you visit the FCC web site and go into the ULS section and register for an FRN, which you should also bring to the test session.  All paperwork will be completed at the beginning of the session.  Testing starts PROMPTLY at 6 pm.  Nobody will be admitted after 6:15 pm.  We are usually in auditorium C, but may be in the cafeteria if the auditoriums are not available.

For more information, please contact Jeff Stahl, K4BH.  His e-mail is k4bh@arrl.net, his home phone is: 954-752-9668 and his cell is 954-224-6390.

The testing session is followed by our regular meeting for the month.  When you make plans for testing, you might like to join us at the meeting.  It is open to all with an interest in amateur radio.  Whether you have a license or not, you are always welcome.

Remember, the meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of each month except in December at Broward Health Imperial Point in Fort Lauderdale, FL.  We open the meeting at 7:30 pm and there are refreshments at the close.

Looking forward to seeing you there.
